Primul festival românesc din sudul Californiei s-a incheiat cu un mare succes, in prezenta a vreo 450 de participanti. Societatea VIITORUL ROMAN a fost prezenta în parteneriat cu organizatorii cu un pavilion propiu, steaguri, flyere si exponate. Membrii societății Septimius și Ramona Caravia, precum și Sanda Ochs au depus un superb efort la succesul acestui festival. De la ședințele organizatorice, la pregătirea prajiturilor, de la promovarea Societății de la tribuna festivalului si distribuția de flyere si formularele de membrie, la neobosita servire a gustoaselor bucate participantilor si documentarea fotografica profesionistă a festivalului, acesti trei membrii minunați au facut onoare organizației noastre, pentru care le mulțumim din inimă! Personal am întreținut un dialog frecvent în ultima săptămână cu organizatorii si reprezentații nostrii si am adus un salut telefonic transmis în direct din Romania, cu toate dificultățile tehnice care s-au ivit. Sperând la o nouă ediție, felicit pe toti cei implicati in reusita festivalului, cu o mențiune de onoare adusa reprezentanților Societății Viitorul Român!
The first Romanian festival in Southern California ended with great success, in the presence of about 450 participants. The society VIITORUL ROMAN was present in partnership with the organizers with their own pavilion, flags, flyers, and exhibits. Society members Septimius and Ramona Caravia, as well as Sanda Ochs, have made a superb effort to make this festival successful. From the organizational meetings to the preparation of cakes, from the promotion of the Society from the festival tribune and the distribution of flyers and membership forms to the tireless serving of tasty dishes to the participants and photographic documentation As a professional of the festival, these three wonderful members have honored our organization, for which we thank them very much, heart! I personally had a frequent dialogue in the last week with the organizers and our performances and brought a live telephonic greeting from Romania, despite all the technical difficulties that arose.
