MISSION STATEMENT

To actively develop quality programs to enhance the stature of Romanian-Americans and the global image of the motherland by addressing the cultural, social and professional needs of its members, facilitate their participation in Society’s activities and promote the growth of its membership.

VISION STATEMENT

To be the premier organization for promoting the Romanian cultural heritage throughout Southern California and beyond.

Viitorul Roman Cultural and Aid Society, founded on April 18, 1926, laid out the blueprint of the organized social life and the aid of ethnic Romanians in the Greater Los Angeles area. The society developed an uninterrupted activity promoting the ethnic self-consciousness and preserving the respect for the Romanian history, language and culture.

Viitorul Roman Cultural and Aid Society is not affiliated to any American or Romanian political party nor to any religious groups. All members in the Board of Directors are volunteers and are not paid or compensated for their services. The Society welcomes anyone who identifies with its Mission and Vision believes, participate to its events and enhance its goals and presence in the community.
